We are pleased to announce that we jointly received the MF Technical Excellence Award with Okita Iron Works Co., Ltd.. The MF Technology Grand Prize, hosted by the Japan Forming Machinery Association, is the world’s prestigious award for press, sheet metal and forming machinery, combining elements such as forging machinery, product processing and research that are essential to Metal Forming (MF). The Grand Prize is awarded to the world’s first combined machine that enables heating, supplying and forming billet material, whereas conventional hot formers only cut and form bar material in the machine. In addition, with the development of this combined machine, the development of “individual forging method for outer and inner rings,” which enables the manufacture of parent and child forged products of tapered bearings whose inner ring outer diameter is larger than the outer ring inner diameter, was highly evaluated.
