The Japan Society for the Promotion of Machine Industry (JSPMI) sponsors the “Award for the Promotion of Machine Industry” with the aim of contributing to the promotion of the machine industry and to further promote technological development in the machine industry. The award is presented to companies, universities, research institutes, and R&D personnel who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement and development of machinery industry technology through excellent research and development and the practical application of the results of those.
